Homeward Pikes Peak has made a huge difference in my life – helping me overcome many challenges I face. I have a life-long disability, am a mom of four children, and have struggled with homelessness many times. I can’t express my appreciation for the resources, help, and support my family has received. I consider Homeward Pikes Peak like family. They have helped me succeed in many ways.

When I arrived at Harbor House, I had absolutely nothing positive going on in my life. I had a plan to try it someone else’s way and that is where I met Daniel Jones. Daniel is the house manager at Harbor House and led the weekly groups we are required to attend. I began to put into practice what he was teaching and my life began to change. As I graduate from the program, my life is full of purpose. I volunteer at a peer coaching academy. I have hope beyond belief and a sincere desire to better myself each and every day. I am no longer terrified of the future, nor do I regret the past. Thank God for the Harbor House. Homeward Pikes and the amazing staff involved at these facilities. I thank you all again for helping me to get my life back again.

Thank you so very much to Homeward Pikes Peak for helping to change my life and helping me bring my kids back. In the program, I have gotten everything that I’ve always wanted. I have a job. I have my kids back. I have a place to go, housing, friends, and family. Without Homeward Pikes Peak I would not be where I am today.
